Guest guest
iliana and group, Do a social story to teach him where and under what circumstances this behavior is acceptable. When he engages in it under other circumstances, redirect him, remove ALL reinforcement and read him the social story. Entrenched and self reinforcing behaviors can take consistency over time to change. ,Colin P's mom [ ] self stimulatory behavior A friend of mine 4 y/o son self stimulatory behavior has increased big- time, and when they try to re-direct his behavior to others is like it accumulates and he becomes more anxious. Have anybody experience these problems? if so how you deal with it, specially the touching on his genitals that drives their crazy.....
