Guest guest
Hello out there! Where is everyone? Let's start a conversation..... Tell us about the most common trigger that sets off an over-eating episode for you. Then share what IOWL technique you use to stop (or attempt to) it in it's tracks. I am an emotional eater through and through, and it doesn't take much to get me started. I'm not a binger, so don't consume VOLUMES of food-but I do reach out for the WRONG types of food to combat emotions-be it boredom, sadness or anger. I find myself blanketed in an " I don't give a sh** " attitude-and here come the cookies, chips, candy. The food has already gone from my hand to my mouth before I can stop to check in with ANYTHING, let alone my stomach! I don't eat out of hunger-I eat for a zillion other reasons. Uh Ohhh-I was supposed to share how I stop this trigger-but I don't seem to stop it very often! OK-so help me out here-what do you all do?
