Guest guest
I have a 3 year old son who is developmentally delayed. His developmental pediatrician recommended speech therapy along with PT and OT. But our insurance company, United Health Care denied all our speech therapy claims despite our numerous effort to reclaim and appeal. About 2 month ago Illinois passed House Bill 4125 which mandates insurance company to pay for additional 20 hours of speech therapy each year for children with autism and developmental disabilities. We mentioned this bill when we appeal. But it seems no help. I am seeking all help to fight with our insurance company. If you can help us in this matter, please contact me at jonsys@.... Thank you for your time and help, Jim Xu
Guest guest
I think this may be my first post to this group. I've been a long-time reader. I would suggest you contact your state senator or representative regarding your situation. They may be able to offer you some help with getting your insurer to pay for the speech therapy. Best of luck, Carolee Densley _________________________________________________________________ Don’t just search. Find.
