Dr. Sundberg is coming out with a new curriculum called the VB MAPP. It

should be out around Decemnber (so he says). If you attend one of his

workshops, he distributes drafts. I was extremely impressed and recommend

ordering it once available. What is the GRIP? Thanks, Carole

The GRIP stands for " Individualized Goal Selection Curriculum " by

Our therapist attended a Dr. Sundberg training on the VB-MAPP. She too has been

very

impressed and says that even in draft form the VB-MAPP works better then the

revised

ABBLS-R. In addition to evaluating skills it pointed out some of the barriers to

our son's

learning, which we are ALL (including Grandma and Grandpa who spoil him) working

on.

She also is using some of the Headsprout material to teach early academics. They

make

material for home and school www.headsprout.com It seems to be a nice

combination

and is working for our little guy.
