Receptive Language / C8 follow instructions to give a named

non-reinforcing object

Dear member - one of my learners is having difficulties with C8 give

program. We are using familiar objects. We started with full prompt /

extended hand and he did great. We started fading the prompt and he

started making mistakes such as " touching object " or " touching moving

but not giving " . We then started implementing 0 seconds delay but he

continues making mistakes (on transferred trails). Otherwise, he's

doing great in all other areas of receptive language " touch, match,

put with same, find the same, find this picture, follows directions to

do simple gross motor action, etc " We are planning to introduce

" point, show, pick up, where is, can you see/find " a bit later. His

expressive language is also very strong! Any feedback will be much

appreciated.
