Guest guest
For those who are interested, I FINALLY got the remastered Early Learner video out on DVD. This is what is new. The graphics are now real computer generated graphics (flow diagrams on how to teach, prompt, prompt fade, transfer trials, etc). Also, each specific skill taught is broken down into chapters you can navigate to via menu. So if you want to teach waiting, you select that chapter, etc. The chapters broke down as follows: 1. Introduction 2. Early Signs 3. Initial Intervention 4. PECS: Picture Exchange Communication 5. Beginning Verbal Behavior 6. Increasing Vocalizations and Pairing 7. Teaching Requesting 8. Early Data Tracking 9. Prompting and Errorless Teaching 10. Natural Environment Teaching and White Boards 11. Activity Based Instruction 12. Requesting Attention 13. ID Body Parts 14. Oral Motor 15. Teaching Help (E.g. To request help) 16. Sensory Integration 17. Teaching Labels 18. Teaching Matching 19. Following Directions 20. Teaching Tips 21. Program Tips 22. Motor Imitation 23. Responding to Name 24. Developing Social Relationships 25. Undesirable Behaviors 26. Teaching Waiting 27. Prompt Dependency 28. Ethan's Progress 29. Ethan's Recovery I think you will find that nothing is better than seeing a program and having it explained to you as you are watching it. The DVD is meant to be as a training tool for parents and teachers. I think you will find this DVD version well worth the wait! Thanks for letting me post this! If you have any questions, please email me privately because I don't read the lists anymore. Thanks! t Burk www.autismteachingtools.com Home of the " Early Learner at Home "
