Guest guest
Hi everybody, I'm new to this group Well, kind of - I've been reading for a while, nodding and thinking, yes, that's exactly how I feel. I thought it really was time for me to start posting here. I'm a student from Germany, 18 years young (turning 19 in November) and I have never been seriously overweight. Well, then what am I doing here? Truth is, I knew if I didn't do anything, I would sooner or later be overweight. I was obsessing about food, trying to lose weight ever since I was thirteen or fourteen without ever needing to. What it did for me was to really destroy my healthy relationship with food. I gained weight, gradually. Of course it's normal to gain weight during puberty, but in June I weighed 150 lbs being 5'7 " . It just wasn't a weight I felt comfortable with. I have since started to listen to s podcasts and it has helped my attitude towards food improve a lot. Still, I have barely lost any weight. I'm up to podcast 17 about Relaxed Intent and I'm still at 148 pounds. Can anybody help me? I believe I'm not keeping track well enough. How do you motivate yourselves to keep track? And what do you keep track of exactly? I appreciate any suggestions, comments and ideas! Judith
