Hi All,

I am new to the group. I am looking forward to interacting with others

that are looking for positive ways to improve themselves and their

lives. I've been struggling with my weight since I was a teen and

that's must surely be eons by now! I'm tired of the struggle and am

looking to change my mind and attitude so that I can develop a more

positive relationship with the food that fuels and sustains me.

Hey Zo, (I guess)

Anywho, don't worry about the struggle. Joining the group was a great start.

My advice is have an optimistic look for your future road. Now don't have a

happy-go-lucky attitude all the time but in case of mishaps, learn from them to

help you better your progress.

If you need help, contact the group and we'll help you out!

:D

Stay positive and be present!

- Jess

Hi Jess,

Thanks for the warm welcome! Yes, it's Zo - that is short for Zoanne (my full

first name)...yep, I know...different! Haha! I'm told that all the time.

I'm really enjoying the IOW podcasts. I just stmbled upon them on Itunes as I

was cruising some other links. I love that they are positive, upbeat, and really

practical.

I will keep listening and keep checking in. Thanks again!

Zo

Zo, welcome to the group. Make a plan to stick with it. I find the

podcasts get better and better. I learn something new in each

episode. The most important lesson I have learned is that when I

stray off course I can self-correct even after a week of straying from

my fitness and eating goals and it is NOT proof that I have failed at

dieting again. It is a learning opportunity and good practice for

self-correcting.
