Guest guest
Hi all. I am translating a compliance valuation for an antihypertensive agent. I have a few problems for which I would appreciate your help. I understand the meaning of *persistence* in the sentences below, but cannot find the right equivalent in Italian. The best I have come up with so far is *mantenimento* della terapia iniziale, but I am sure there is something more appropriate. Any ideas? <- Evaluate one year persistence on initial antihypertensive therapy comparing xxx to other antihypertensive agents / classes. - Evaluate difference in persistence associated with xxx and all other antihypertensive classes including ACE, CCBs, Diuretics, beta-blockers and AIIRAs.> Second problem: Please see the context. <*Message* 1: Persistence to xxx therapy is superior to: All antihypertensives? Other AIIRAs? YYY? *Message executions*: xxx is the first AIIRA to have proven superior compliance versus all other antihypertensive agents including all other AIIRAs. xxx is the first AIIRA to have proven superior compliance versus other AIIRAs Compliance with xxx therapy is superior to compliance with YYY> Are these messages like *the messages the study wants to get across* and the executions the *explanations* by which they will try to sustain their messages? Finally, I have not found an Italian acronym for AIIRA (angiotensin II receptor antagonists). Do you know whether one exists? Sorry for the long message and thank you for your help.
