On April 3, 4, and 5 2008 a huge event will be in port PA!

wooo hooo, something local!

An autism conference will be held April 3 & 4, presenting Bill

Stillman, the Carbone Clinic, and a community service pannel.

Parents are encouraged to sign up for scholarships, as we hope to

have enough scholarships for all parents!

child care provided during conference for children with autism under

age 7 (most older children should be in school at that time)

the picnic and fundraising walk will be on April 5 at South

port park complex. Lots and lots of community service

agencies will have tables set up for parents to gather information

and talk to staff!! Activities and games for kids! Free food!!!

Volunteers to help keep kids safe, and to guide kids to activities

while parents get a second (hey, maybe even two!) to talk to others!!!

visit the web site for more info, registration forms, etc. You can

register to attend the conference or for the walk. Or... if you'd

just like to come by and enjoy the picnic, Just show up!!!

Money donated to the national autism society will go to research, and

money dontated to autism link will be given back to the community to

help set up a respite system as well as other services for parents of

children with autism.

If you would like to sponsor me ( i will be walking as well as having

a table of information) please make out your check to Autism Link (I

would prefer the $$ get recycled into the community) or NAS, and mail

to

Dana Garner

PO BOX 5082

South port, PA 17702

Please help us raise money for autism research and for community

services for autism!!!!

Thanks,

Dana
