, it took three months for my system to get used to the meds. Your white and red counts may be a little low. Sometimes, I get a pain in my right side of stomach after taking meds. It only happens now and then followed by trips to the bathroom. Are you taking anything for depression yet. Sounds like you have a mild depression. Talk to your dr. about it. Hugs, VickieG

I

never had any bad stomach pain. Are you drinking your water? You

have to flush those toxins. Talk to the doc about it. As for the

anger – it has a name: Riba Rage. Like others have asked –

are you on anti-depressants? It will help with the mood issues cased by

the Riba.

,

honey, I understand that you want things to be like they used to be. But

they can’t ever be like they were before you were diagnosed. You

made a big step toward the future when you decided to do tx, and looking back

isn’t going to help you get through it, sweetheart. You have to

work on today and maybe tomorrow and let everything else take a back

burner. You have to have a positive attitude and believe you can get

through this. Tell that dragon he’s really pissing you off today

because you need to rest for work tomorrow and to leave you alone for a

while. Don’t feel sorry for yourself, feel sorry for the dragon,

because he’s the one that’s really taking the beating.

Another

way to think about it, if you’re a Christian, is you know how whenever we

get closer to God, Satan starts messing with us and throwing stumbling blocks

in our way, because he’s afraid he’s losing his hold on us?

Well that’s the way the dragon acts sometimes too. The dragon

starts acting a fool and causing more problems when the poison starts hitting

him because he’s scared he’s gonna die. So he acts crazy

trying to make us give up. So we don’t give up, and

eventually he does.

Maybe

that was a bigger pep talk than you really needed, but I got on a roll. Hopefully,

somebody needed it if not you, honey! LOL

~~ Well the pep talk worked for me! I love things that give me a perspective that I hadn't thought of. Thanks...being a Christian myself, I love the getting closer to God analogy. Glad you are feeling better. Take care of your dear self! Motley wrote: I never had any bad stomach pain. Are you drinking your water? You have to flush those toxins. Talk to the doc about it. ~~ No, I haven't experienced the pain that you are talking about myself. I'm glad that you have the doc appointment so that you can check it out. Like others have encouraged, be sure to tell about the sides that you are experiencing. They have many solutions in their bag of tricks that will help lessen them for you and increase your chances of making it through. Just think....four shots down is 1/6th of the way already! Every day you're one step closer to the goal...a slain dragon. Keep your eye on the prize and remember that it's not going to be like this forever. There was a beginning and there will be an end. On days when I have

felt bad, I tell myself that I only have to do this deal for today. Tomorrow's another day and I have hope of feeling better. I can't tell you how much the water makes a difference...my doc couldn't stress it enough. Most of the effects of tx are made worse, if not caused by, dehydration. I proporation myself out on my gallon of water a day, by drinking one liter every three hours. By doing so, I think of it as insurance against feeling bad or worse. In fact, I'm afraid to miss it. I even keep a case of water in my trunk so it is with me all the time. I really care about you and pray for you. I got the coolest card from a friend this week. It said, "The last thing you need is one more person telling you to "hang in there," so I'll just ask God to remind you how secure His hold is! I

hope this encourages you like it did me. Blessings, wrote: Hey there ,I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced reallybad stomack pain ,I am in

What has kept my attitude so up is the fact that God has our days

numbered. He and only He knows the day of my death. The docs my be

able to help with the quality of my life, but not the quantity. I

have complete faith in the fact that I will be here as long as He

wants me to be.

On the (I hope) humorous side, I also have rheumatiod arthritis and I

do not hesitate to use these as an excuse to get out of anything I

don't want to do. My family knows all about it and just laugh at me,

but I will pull out the big guns if I need to LOL.

I figure I have to get something good out of a bad situation LOL.

Keep your chin up. This whole thing is do-able.
