Guest guest
Hey SuZie… scary stuff, huh? You are often in my thoughts and you may use all of my luck! Love ya, Llinda Well, I saw the doctor in Toronto yesterday. He refused to do the ablation because of the condition of my liver - the chances of complications (hemorrhage, further damage to the liver etc) are too high & could put me in need of an immediate t p. He wants me to have a t p - a s a p. He says that it's not the cancer that's the problem, it's my liver & a transplant would take care of both problems! My chances of a successful t p in time to save my life are better with a related volunteer donor & my brother has volunteered. I'll soon know if he was serious. I have an appt with the t p team for an assessment on Feb 12th & we'll go from there. Wish me luck. Guest guest
Well that was 0-100 in about 2 seconds flat, wasn’t it? That’s going to take a little time to adjust to. Is there any need for a 2nd opinion? We love you so much and will be praying over it all. I guess the next step is for your brother to be evaluated if he is serious? Guest guest
(((Suzie))). Good luck with all your tests. May God be with you throughout. Hugs, VickieG Update - SuZie Hi Guys, Well, I got a call from the t p people today. I've got an appointment in Toronto on April Fool's Day for a c t scan - upper G I series - then with a G I. Both on the same day, only an hour apart(c t scan first) Hope I can make them both, they're at different hospitals but there is a shuttle bus between them. They've also faxed my doctor to get her to set up appointments for an echo-cardiogram, stress test, pulmonary functions test & colonoscopy( yuch) here. And that's to decide if they'll do the t p! More hurry up & wait! I've been sleeping so much lately I never get to see the end of a t v show, I fall asleep in the middle (unless it's a 3 or 4 a m, then I'm awake for the whole thing!) Life is weird, last month I couldn't sleep, now I can't stay awake. I wish it would just even out & let me sleep like a normal person. Guest guest
Hey SuZiE, You sound like you have a good " handle " on what is going to be done to you. The non-invasive are nothing at all..as far as the " OUCH " factor goes, the colonostamy (sp) I don't know know, they put me to sleep.......just for awhile. God Bless you honey and please do keep someone updated on your progress, so we can say a prayer for you..OK?? Del --- VickieG wrote: > (((Suzie))). Good luck with all your tests. Guest guest
Another “vacation” in TO! Yippee! Spyke’s gonna be pissed! Didn’t they do all that stuff the last time? I guess they have to start over since you’ve got the new condition since then. At least the ball is rolling. I’m still praying for you, honey. We love you.
