1st Procrit Shot & Raised Ribavirin

Exciting news...today the Procrit came in and I was able to do my first shot. As the doc has indicated, I should feel better soon and not be so tired and sleep so much. I am looking forward to that. She also advised me to go back to the 5 ribavirin pills a day. She thinks they will balance each other out and that tx will be more effective. What a difference a day makes....

How many mg of Ribavirin do you take. I was 167 lbs when I started

treatment and I take two pills a day totaling 1000 mg, a 600 mg in the

am and a 400 mg in the pm.
