Guest guest
The first shot is usually the worst one. About 6-10 hours after the shot he might get the chills really bad. Have plenty of blankets, heating pad, or electric blanket ready. I got really hot after that and that that threw off all the covers & my clothes & had the fan on high. Be sure he starts drinking his water/liquids this morning if he hasn’t already. He may feel flu-ish over the weekend, but may not. It hits everyone differently. Like Gail said, if he doesn’t feel like eating, small meals or ensure will help. Ginger will also help with nausea if that’s a problem & if it continues there’s an rx some people are on. That gallon of water a day is the most important thing throughout tx to keep the toxins flushed and the sides to a minimum. Let us know how it goes. Check with his doctor for sure, but many of ours have said no more than 4 extra strength Tylenol per 24-hour period. advice??? congrates.. on your results that is so exciding... I can only pray my husband will have the same results.. He is starting is first treatment Friday!!! Im so nervous. Is there anything I can do to make it better for him or is there anything I need to watch for. Any advice??? Shonda
