Guest guest
I need some help on how to teach these skills. 1.Teaching Gender: I want to teach what a boy, girl, man, woman is to my duaghter and then move on to pronouns. We started receptively and are doing with pictures. Is this better or non identical matching is a better way of teaching this skill? Need your opinions. 2.Two step directions: My daughter is only doing one part of the instruction(sometimes, the first part of the instruction and other times the second part). When we do it with a delay - give the first instruction and while she is doing it give the second instruction she follows them perfectly, but if we do one after the other she has a problem...our therapists tried doing the instructions and askinbg her to do, but she doesn't wiat to see what the instructor is doing. I am checking with my cocordinator on the smae but needed your opinions on what worked for you. Also, when asked to give multiple objects, she can't do it. Please let me know what worked for you and/or any other ideas. Thanks,
