She is also Co-Executive Director of The Elija School www.elijaschool.org , an educational treatment program for children with Autism, as well as Co- Executive Director of Effect Interventions www.effectiveinterventions.com , a behaviorally based clinic for children with autistic spectrum disorders in Nassau County. She is also a parent of a child with ASD. Debora continues to offer ongoing seminars in a variety of topics pertaining to intervention, advocacy, and parenting children with ASD. D. Thivierge, Esq. is an attorney representing children with special needs. She is a founding partner of Thivierge & Rothberg PC www.trspecialedlaw.com. graduated from the City University of New York School Law (JD) and Central Connecticut State University (BS). Prior to attending law school, she spent nine years with the Central Connecticut ARC working with adults diagnosed with autism and other disabilities. has litigated due process cases in New York, New Jersey, Indiana, and Alaska. is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as a number of circuit Courts of appeal.
