Guest guest
Okay folks, Well been kinda quiet and just getting used to the difference in weather here in San . Not that it is that much different but a bit more humid than it was in Altus. Temps are not that big of a deal as they are similiar. And getting used to the area. Yeah Tulsa was huge, but San is in a class by itself. LOL The city itself is beautiful. We haven't found a house yet and we may continue to live here in the Fam Camp for a while they will let us stay as long as we like. We will probably upgrade the RV (Get a new one.)though so that we have more room. Lots of folks live here full time, and it is kind of cool that it has like mega security!! A must in a city like San . Being that it is on base well nothing is more secure than a military base. LOL The girls, Breianna and Alyssa will be going to school right here on base. And that makes me very happy. The schools here on Base are great. Been staying pretty busy just getting in tune to the area. I would have to say it is a culture shock. I didn't think that it would make that much difference to me, but guess you get set in your ways and opps you have to change your way of thinking. The good thing is I am doing some pretty intense excersizing. I walk about 5 miles a day and have started a bunch of ladies to walk with me. I am determinded to not ever let my health ever get as bad as it has been in the past. It takes work living healthy. But the benefits of good health is worth the extra work it takes to keep me in the pink. My blood work shows a improvement, that is a added plus. So no whinin' here, just keeping in real and living life a bit healthier. And the benefit of walking is my legs are getting toned and lean and mean. LOL I am doing a heavy duty cleaning of the RV today, washing all the cushions and going to do curtains later. So I will go for now. Just wanted you all to know that I am around.
