Guest guest
I read some great news about earlier. Congrats, man! How to hang tough, and now it looks like the ball is bouncing more your way! That's the way this disease is. I've been feeling better and better the past year, especially the past few months. My blood tests have been improving, and I have been extremely happy with my progress. I figured I may never have to think about a liver transplant again. Well, then things go down, way down. In the past 2 weeks I've had blood tests, an ultrasound, CT scan and MRI. So of course I have liver cancer! It makes no sense to me, but what does make sense about this horrid disease? I'm much stronger both physically and mentally since that last fiasco of an operation nearly 2 years ago (routine gall bladder removal, 22 days in ICU, wife told I wouldn't survive, etc.). I'll probably try to find a good liver transplant forum to learn and talk to those more experienced. Maybe I'm in denial now, but I don't care! I'm calm and relaxed and feel ready for all they can throw at me. Ups and Downs, Indeed lol!
