Thanks Ann Marie, I'm sure its nothing to serious but the symptoms could have

multiple causes and I know I have a very good diet. I spend alot of time

figuring out if I have enough fat/carbs/protein etc. So I seriously doubt that

is the problem here.

I'm also mad at them because I have mentioned my past problems with anorexia and

they pretty much told me I needed to loose weight (this is based off the scale

and nothing else...I was a size six at the time). If I had been younger and

less informed that might have sent me into a tail spin down the road of

starvation again. I am actually about average as far as body fat percentage is

concerned and I dont think a 28 inch waistline is that bad considering my huge

bust. I'm not where I want to be physically but I know a lot of people would

kill to be my condition and are struggling to get there. (said with as little

egotism as possible)

<< ,

I'm so sorry about the health problems you have. The mis-diagnosing

is also a horrible thing. (I went through that too) Here you are

trying to get help and they're assuming you have this or that when it

may be something totally different. I can totally understand your

frustration having gone through that for the better part of my

childhood. That's why I'm so passionate about anyone not giving up

and continuing to search for the answers. I hated living the way I

was when it didn't have to be that way. I didn't like it, and it

hurts to see anyone else going through that just because the doctor

has reached a dead end in his diagnosis. My theory is, and I live by

this, if anyone tells you that you just have to live with it, it's

time to look for somebody else. I've been through it with doctors

and car mechanics!!! I don't take no for an answer!

And thanks for the info about water - I knew it was relevant, but

, I know about your frustration and I have to go along with what the

others said...keep hunting! I went ten years dealing with my symptoms and

my dr kept saying there is nothing wrong with you...finally I read about

hypothyroidism and it was a eureka moment...found another dr who was

willing to test me and that was what was wrong. I actually started crying

when he told me because finally I knew it wasn't in my head and it had a name.

I would be upset too if my doctor blew off those symptoms. I might

even change doctors if he/she was so dis-interested in a symptom like

that. You go girl! Go get that physical! Even if everything turns

up negative, it's SOOOOOOO worth the piece of mind.

Ann Marie - who hopes finds her answers very soon

For what it's worth, I read your message to the end too and the

water/fiber combo makes perfect sense. :-)

That's a good one - a person who's a size 6 needs to lose weight!

What's wrong with this picture??? LOL!

WELL I wish I were still a size 6. This was a couple months ago..since my

honeymoon and bad experience with a new medication I have gone back up to an 8.

But I feel some new harer muscles underneath so I think it might only be

temporary.

That's great , a healthy diet is half the battle.

That's a good one - a person who's a size 6 needs to lose weight!

What's wrong with this picture??? LOL! You're right - that could

have a detrimental impact on a less informed person.

I hope I didn't seem overbearing in all of this, I just hate to see

someone spinning their wheels when they don't have to be.

Hope all works out well for you!

OK, now I have to ask:

can you send the recipes? I have smoothies all the time but I suspect they

aren't much of a diet (they are great energy boosters and a real treat
