Guest guest
Soy contains isoflavonoids(sp?) that mimic estrogen. Many women report that soy milk, soybeans and other soy products counter pre- and post-menstrual side effects. My wife uses a fermented soy beverage instead of HRT at the advice of her doctor. Guest guest
Anything with Maca will also help. Don't take it if you have high estrogen levels, though. GNC has a couple of women's formulas that contain Maca. -----Original Message-----From: dbrady14@... Unless you're a woman. (wink, wink) Monthly hormones shoot this all to hell...at least for me. I've been craving carbs so bad I was ready to bite someone's head off yesterday in the hopes of finding cookies inside. Someone (not on this list) indicated that soy helps. Guest guest
Hey Sheena, Actually my viral count was higher than when I started.....how does that happen when you're body is full of anti-viral meds? I won't be able to do the test again until I'm finished.....because I am private pay and that test costs $750.....I'm really worried because they lowered my ribavarin from 6 to 4 pills a day.....because of my blood counts....if I am not responding.....won't lowering my meds just make it worse? I go for more labs on Monday.....hopefully they will be better and I can get back on my usual dose......I'm holding my ground.....they have tried to make me quit several times because I have had so many problems......I don't think they realize what a stubborn old heifer I can be!!! Thanks for being here.....continuing to say prayers for all of us........ Tina The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor. The man who kneels to God can stand up to anything. Just wanted to let ya'll know that I got my 12 week VL results this morning....and I am not responding. This wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear....I thought as sick as I have been so far in tx....that it HAD to be doing some good.....but I'm hanging in there....I know this last 12 weeks will do the trick....my mother always told everyone that I could not be rushed into anything.... I did things in my own time.....why should tx be any different I guess....Tina

Guest guest
OH Tina, Im so very sorry to read this.. if your viral load went higher, THAT means that you probably wont respond to THIS CURRENT tx.. If it were me, I'd email Dr. Ben Cecil and give him all your info and see what he has to say. He really helped me with my tx and from everyone I've spoken to who has emailed him, he always answers and he IS THE BEST in the hep c field. You might want to consider that by continuing to do THIS treatment that you actually may be doing yourself more harm than good. Anytime the Riba is lowered during the first 12 weeks, that alone can make the virus mutate.. I dont want you to worry but like I said, if it were me, I'd email dr cecil and ask him about this because if anyone knows this virus, its him.. here is his email addy if you dont have it... please let me know if you email him and what suggestions he has for you..k? Guest guest
Hey Jackie, Yes I have emailed Dr. Cecil on several occasions.....and he does know his stuff....I contacted him originally when I was first considering doing tx....and he was very helpful.....and then again when I was having so many side effects....so yes I will probably contact him again now and see what suggestions he might have for me...thanks so much much for all your help.....take care Tina > > > > > > > > Just wanted to let ya'll know that I got my 12 week VL results this > morning....and I am not responding. Guest guest
Like excrement warmed over. I have a constant low-grade fever, headaches, muscle aches, bone pain, my liver hurts constantly, I get dizzy, lose my balance, get sick to my stomach. My arms and hands are always cold and the tremors are getting worse. The brain fog is getting worse too. So are the moles and other spots. I’m not suicidal, but sometimes think I’d be better off dead. My hemoglobin went down again this week, but it’s still above 10g. m From: Hepatitis_C_Central [mailto:Hepatitis_C_Central ] On Behalf Of Sheena Sent: Saturday, June 28, 2008 1:03 PM To: Hepatitis_C_Central Subject: RE: Results How are you feeling, ? ..
