This new Early Intervention Centre

specializing in Verbal Behavior Therapy for children under the Autism Spectrum

is looking for staff to be a part of this landmark facility for Bermuda. The

following is the job description for whichwe are accepting applications. A

minimum of 2 years commitment is required for this position.

DIRECTOR

Board

Certified Behavior Analyst required to head an Early Intervention Centre for

children under the Autism Spectrum. Minimum of 3 years experience assessing and

designing programs using ABLLS and Verbal Behavior. Must have

management experience, good

organizational skills, strong leadership skills, be personable and be able to

oversee the day to day running of an early intervention centre. Must be able to

lead a team of therapists and work well within that team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

certification required.

•

Minimum of 3 years experience designing, implementing and assessing programs

using ABLLS and Verbal Behavior.

• Must also have an understanding of other treatment methods - RDI,

Greenspan’s Floortime, Sensory Integration, etc.

• Experience as a director or high-level

manager for a minimum of 3 years

• Clinical competence in family therapy, behavior therapy, and

cognitivebehavioral therapy

• Familiarity with research literature on the causes, correlates,

and treatments of autism and disorders under the autism spectrum

• The ability to train staff, parents and

partners on the principles of Verbal Behavior and how to apply the skills

learned

• The ability to

provide hands on therapy to clients

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
