Guest guest
Sheri, I never received the list of tests needed via email today. Please send it to me in the morning so I can print it and bring it to have the blood drawn. Thanks again Vicki Sheri <eszbi5@...> wrote: Not a problem that is why I am there. Guest guest
I run into a big fight with my school district about my son's placement setting now. My son has been successfully fully included in a regular class with a one-on-one aide since 1st grade. After we moved from Deptford Nj to Voorhees NJ last year, the current school district cut the one-on-one aide for my son. Now they put my son in a resource room for reading and language arts. But his resource room teacher doesn't like him at all and want to kick him out to self contained room. My son is a very nice good behavior boy, he never bring any troubles to other kids in glass. He also maintained very successful school report card in the past 5 years. This year, he just goes to middle school and has to face many new things. His teacher talked all negative things about him during our last night back to school meeting. I want to switch teacher for him. I also want to have a one-on-one aide to help him during middle school. My school special service director doesn't want to provide an aide and she just want to put my son from resource room to self contained room. All these years efforts to fully include my son into regular class will be damaged. Please give me your advices as what I can do now to put my son back to his old happy time in a regular class with a one-on-one aide. I got totally knocked down after back to school night yesterday. All i heard are negative comments about my son from his resource room teacher. Can I ask school to put my son in another resource room with another teacher?
