Hi all, I need your help again with something that I have been

struggling with.

My daughter just can't get pronouns and gender. Mine/your is very

hard, we are only working on that. Also gender is so very hard. She

just gets in the pictures used for a set, beacuse she memorizes them

and can't at all genralize, so I think she didn't get the

concept. When u present a next set, she is lost. We started with baisc

matching gender, but that seems to be very hard for her. Any thought

son both these programs?

Also, I am trying to work on increasing her spontaneous langauge. She

asks 'where' questions very approriately(when we ask her to get an

item and it's not in her reach or if she can't find it she

says 'where is it'). Bust she can't ask what questions, the problem

here is motivation, she has absolutely no desit=re and no intesrest

in anything. In one of the archives, I saw a post suggesting to use a

surprise goody bag and teach what questions that way, but she is not

interested. Is there any other way of teching that?

I also want to add some more goals in spontaneous langauge. Can you

please help me identify any other goals? here is what she has so far:

1.says please, thanku, excuse me, bless you, hi, how are you etc.

2.Request stuff that she needs.

Can you please help me with ideas?

Thanks.
