Guest guest
Hello . Please forgive me, but I don't remember what 'level' your husband. However, The answer to question is yes. I too, get dizzy and have fallen down a number of times...From the moment I said to my then " new " doctors, they said 'YOU REALIZE you can't drive anymore " .. Of course, that doesn't sit well with too many people, and I was in outsides sales, as well. I told them. " If I can't drive, my job won't need me, and if I lose my job I won't have any Health Insurance' etc...they SAID WHATEVER, THEY WOULD NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ME KILLING A FAMILY OF 4 BECAUSE i WAS DRIVING..SO..in my file it went.. Not being able to drive is a hard one to accept, for me, harder than being told I have Hep C and Liver Disease. If you don't have a car in Houston...your stuck. I came home and felt sorry for myself, and thought...Wow...just yesterday I was a happy (as happy as I knew then) and ridin' my motorcycle like a bat outta' hell, and driving one of my vehicles.. and now they tell me I can't drive and to call Metro Lift..(Houston's disabled folks " bus service. Whenever my ex fiance's van would break down(it was modified for wheelchair driving and very light " touch " to turn the wheel, therefore, she would have to use Metro Lift. It's a good service, but I couldn't swallow that bitter pill. When hubby gets up makes a sudden head movement.(with me, when I take my pills, I throw my head back, and sometimes I don't stop going back..until something stops me. Middle of the night bathroom break? BE CAREFUL..once you truly lose orientation, it only gets worse, not better..until you have gone down or hit a wall. I took a tumble at the Med Center on the sidewalk, throwing my favorite drink cup (haha) out in front and then hitting' the hard stuff. I've e found it's better to just go down than try to not fall all the way down, (you don't break as many things hahahah) I hope all of the me talking about me will in someway help the both of you. Anyway, my friend, I just got off the phone and I've lost train of thought..I do remember that I wanted to say your husband has been blessed by God to have you in his camp. Guest guest
thanks everyone. I figured it probably was. He is in his 12th week of treatment and goes to the dr. the 26th for his next check. He gets his blood drawn on Monday here in town and they are faxing it to his Hep C dr who is over an hour away. He said that he felt just a little off kelter yesterday at work and I noticed last night that he seemed to be just a little off balance when he was walking around my daughter's wheelchair and asked him about it. He has bad knees so that doesn't help much - guess I will have to nag him to start using his cane again. Problem is if he goes down it will be a major problem - he is a big guy - 6'4" and 350 lbs! We really appreciate all your help and support. while I hate the side effects he is having I hate to see him have to stop the treatment too but I guess Monday's blood test will show if he is responding. PCR is for the viral load right? Life is too short for what if's, jump in with both feet and go for it.It's Tax Time! Get tips, forms and advice on AOL Money Finance.
