Guest guest
They like to use siblings to find a pool of children at higher risk of developing ASD. Look here http://www.nimh.nih.gov/research-funding/scientific-meetings/recurring-meetings/\ iacc/nih-initiatives/staart/staart-network-centers-kennedy-krieger-institute.sht\ ml http://www.kennedykrieger.org/kki_news.jsp?pid=6521 http://www.kennedykrieger.org/kki_news.jsp?pid=2306 Search for Sibling or Landa (Becky Landa, director KKI CARD) Is there something in particular you're looking for. There are often announcements on the local boards when they are starting a new study. I can take a look. From a press release: " Dr. Landa's study involves the enrollment of more than 300 infant siblings of children with autism and testing them at 6, 14, 24 and 36 months of age to identify " markers " in behavior that will help in the early diagnosis of the disorder, which typically is not diagnosed until age 3 or later. The project has been expanded to develop diagnostic criteria for use in infants 18 months of age and to examine the brain basis of the expression of social and communicative abnormalities.
