I just started listening to 's podcast a week ago. I am on

episode 4 and learning a whole lot about myself. I am especially taken

with the idea of away from and towards motivation. I am moving away

from expensive Lane clothes towards cheaper Target clothes! lol :)

On a deeper level though I am moving away from body shame and the

isolation that comes with it towards looking great and feeling great

about my body. I want a bikini body! :D I can see it too, black... and

me walking on the beach with a colorful sarong, strutting, even if no

one is watching, just feeling like a million bucks! lol. Yup Yup. I

love this away/towards thing. It gets me grinning every time.

Welcome!

Stick with these podcasts, do the homework, and you will continue

to feel better and better. I was telling hubby this morning that I am

friends with my body now, and am happy with myself NOW. I will

eventually lose more weight, but as my body is comfortable releasing

it. I will no longer try to beat it into submission, like a hated

enemy. It only sent me into starvation/panic mode. I feel better

about myself than I have EVER felt before. Freedom from self loathing

is a huge leap forward for me. We're getting ready to leave for 2 1/2

wks in France (among the skinny people) and I am not dreading putting

on my swimsuit. Now THAT is progress!!
