When i was 17 yrs old i went on Pegasys-Copegus for 24 weeks i was a genotype 2b and 70% chance of clearing the virus. the side effects for 2 weeks were muslce pain, fever, cold chills and after 2 weeks i felt back to my normal self. I been clear of the Hepatitis C virus for almost 2 yrs and every once a year i do lab work to recheck to see if i'm still in remission. I think children and teenagers with hepatitis c should try out the treatment. my doctor name is Dr. at Shands Children Hospital in Gainesville, FL. I was his first responder on Pegasys-Copegus and his 2nd youngest he treated with Hepatitis C. please conect me at sweetiechick2010@... your truly, ~*~Georganna~*~

Guest guest
Hey Farra! I just want to welcome you to the Inside Out Weight Loss Yahoo! Group. Here, you won't be told what to eat or what to exercise but will help your mentality state to make losing weight a breeze.... The episodes do help and each one is really worth note-taking. lol. But I know where you're coming from so please don't hesitate to ask for help or ask questions because it is what we all need from time to time. Stay positive and be present! - Jess
Guest guest
Hi Farra, I'm brand new also. I used to be thin as a rail, could eat all I wanted and never gained. Then we moved someplace I didn't want to be, people weren't very friendly and so I baked and cooked up a storm and ate all I made. Now 12 years and 50 pounds (!) later, here I am. I can give you every tip there is, recite all the information on hows & whys of weight loss. I even used to manage one of the very earliest figure and weight control gymns when they started up in the mid-70's (at 24 you have a great opportunity to make changes!) but " owning " that information and just knowing are sure two different thiings. I love the podcasts but find I'm still an unconsious eater, often not even realizing what I've done until later. Not sure when that lesson is coming!! At any rate, I think we've come to a good place to start making changes. Candace > > > > > > Hi! I found IOWL a few months ago, but hadn't listened until just a > > few days ago. Guest guest
Hey Farra! I'm pretty new to this group as well but started to listen to the podcasts back in June. I forget it sometimes, but truth is, I have come very far since then. My attitude towards food is usually a positive one and I'm starting to learn how to really treat myself - treats that don't involve fast food, but something like going to the sauna, doing yoga or watching a movie I love. Even drinking a cool, refreshing glass of water or my favorite teas. I'm just changing some beliefs here and am realizing that I used to believe in things I hadn't even realized. Every day I discover and learn more about myself and my relationship towards food and, in fact, life. So you've definitely come to the right place. This is the best approach to losing weight that I've ever seen, because it's NOT about willpower and NOT about deprivation. It's about discovering the naturally slender you - and a lot of other things in the progress. There's something here for you. You'll love this journey! > > Hi! Guest guest
Hi Farra, Congratulations on your new marriage and my heart goes out to you! Working through unhealthy relationships with food and our bodies is very difficult, but you've found a great place to do it. I've been working with the podcasts since June and I've found that I have a MUCH healthier relationship with food, myself, my husband and even my mother. Instead of obsessing about food all the time, I keep lot of organic, local produce, lean proteins and grains in the house and when I can't eat at home I really stop and think about my decision for my meal and eat consciously, stopping when I first think I'm full. Quick tip on the produce for those of you stateside, you can check out www.localharvest.org for a listing of farmer's markets and local CSA's. Best wishes on both of your new journeys!
