I just called and registered and I asked how many spaces they had and she

said that they opened the registration yestarday and they were looking to

I know for a fact that Raleigh is only 5 hour from DC and DC is 1 1/2 hours

from me and I am 20 min from the studio park

DRIVE...................we definately want you there with is you deserve it,

talk to hubby and see if it is possible.

If you need a place to stay for the night I am sure you can stay with one of

us.

Well, I'll look into it, but I am sure my hubby would not be thrilled with

the idea of me driving five hours from home, especially uninsured!! I'll talk

to him about it, maybe we can make a family trip out of it. I doubt it, but

I'll try. I already got the vacation in October so I can't push my luck

Thanks guys for all of the offers of places to stay!! I'll look into it!! I

have to run it by my husband first. I think he gets a little jealous that I

am always going somewhere and he never gets to go anywhere. I'll let you all

I will do amanda! I wish you could make it up, but I so understand

the ticket thing....

I'll be in raleigh tomorrow actually for that wedding - i really had

wanted to try to meet up with you,b ut it looks like our time is so

filled up with here and there and everywhere, that I think I would be

lucky to have 5 minutes to spend with you when there!

we leave at 8:30 out of BWI, then get in at 10, the wedding is at 1,

and over at 10 in the evening - then we fly out sunday at 2:30, but

MIL wants to visit her sisters before we leave and we are travellign

with her! The only timie I know I'll be sitting around doing nothing

while there is when returning home, I'll be sitting at the airport

for probably about an hour wiating for the plane! LOLOL

OH well! Another stressful day in the life of amy!

i think it would be a bit more than 5 hours... it's about 6 hours

from where I live (almost in Pa) to raleigh durham (that's why we are

flying for this wedding) and then from my house to QVC is another 1

1/2 hour drive... I've driven to raleigh before, it's usually 5-6

hours then you've got to figure on the additional to philly.

I did notice that most of the airlines are running roundtrip airfare

from raleigh durham to baltimore for 88 bucks...

As far as the hotel thing - depending on what time it starts, if it

is really early am, I might get a hotel in philly as might amy - I

hate driving really early in the am... nothing fancy just a holiday

inn or best western... perhaps split with someone else or a few folks

who need to hit a hotel the night before. I checked from raleigh

into philly, it's almost TWICE the price, at about 150 round trip...

just FYI incase you are thinkign...

QVC is a sure BILLY BET though!

WELL dear amanda, depending on times of the workout, I'd be more than

willing to get you from the airport. It's about a 40 minute ride

south of me - I hate to say this prematurely because it has to be

passed by my husband first - but you could probably stay at my house

if you flew in friday night or something... If you came in around say

between 4-7, I work about 10 minutes from teh airport! Would be very

easy to get you. If it ends up that hubby for some reason is not

thrilled (i have to be polite and ask before I say, you know?) it is

also likely that if hte workout is early AM i might stay at a hotel

in philly in which case I could pick you up from the airport, then

drive up to the hotel in philly and we could share a room. They

can't be that expensive there, I have a AAA discount. Baltimore is

about 1 1/2 hour from Philly....

I know Elena is also close to BWI too. (not that I'm volunteering
