Guest guest
Outside of the shrugging of her shoulders when I mentioned the nuclear-powered diarrhea brought on by the Procrit shot we had a good meeting. She is helpful and good humored and I think she takes my success in TX as a personal journey for her as well. She offered me some Immodium tablets (I've never taken those) and told me I've got to shoot the Procrit again tomorrow. I do feel better regarding breathlessness & muscle fatigue so I think the Procrit is helping. Got labs today so we'll know tomorrow. Insurance approved Procrit-- just took the nurse who knew how to write it up coming back from maternity leave to take care of it! I turned in my paperwork to HR today including a letter from the doc/PA re: possible side effects. I have not informed my supervisor (principal) as she is gossipy at best & unprofessional at worst. I have had her discuss other employees with me which I do not appreciate and do not participate in. Politically she is trying to assemble her " camp " , but I'm not the only one who doesn't want to be in it. However, there are others who are willing to jump through her hoops-- though mostly she is not respected or liked. I will inform my coordinator (department head) in general terms-- she will appreciate knowing if she has to get a long term sub since good subs are hard to find. So we'll see. Feeling pretty good-- hope the Procrit and TX shots don't bite my ass as badly this weekend! BTW: Procrit also brings up some indigestion, so I'm eating alot simpler (low fat) and less. Seems to help. Hope everyone is grateful for the good things tonight! Photi
