Very interesting - I've been using it for about 6 months or so.

Chris

Interesting, I just bought some NON-BITTER Stevia last week... Anyone else use Stevia?

It is a product one would use in place of sugar or any artificial sweetener. It comes from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant. You can get it in little packets like Nutri-Sweet, etc or drops. I have purchased the Stevia over the years but have not been able to use it because it had such a bitter after taste. My trainer turned me on to: NuStevia by NuNaturals and I could not believe it...no bitterness. I had to purchase on their site at www.nunaturals.com. There are some health food stores that carry this brand here and there around the country. Whole Foods does not carry it in my area but they were very interested in the order info, so I gave it to them. On the site they charge $9.99 for 100 packets, so I bought 1 for me and 1 for my friend who has diabetes. I have been told that a small health food store in my area does carry it so I will not have to purchase on line. Maybe I will put

it some water and drink it!!! ha! Steph P.S. You can also get the drops.SHARON CROSBY wrote: I haven't heard of this, what is it and is it expensive? I know that Stevia is used in very small

quantities to sweeten foods so I would imagine if, in fact, it is the same, a

great deal more would be required to have an impact.

I believe several stores in the area carry

stevia so I’ll pick some up – can’t hurt!!

Is there a reason for buying NuNatural

brand?

I have Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Wild By

Nature and a slew of health food stores in the area so I’ll take a look.

It is supposed to be safe but not for dogs - and possibly cats - so, to be on the safe side, I've never used it.
