Children with autism and their siblings will participate together by singing and dancing in an interactive and educational format. Marlowe pairs American Sign Language and visuals with the music as she found that helped her connect with her daughter who has autism. She uses music in her after school program to promote social interaction between special needs children and their typical peers, while teaching awareness, tolerance and inclusion of all people. > For more information on Marlowe Bechmann and her work with the Swingset Mamas promoting music and autism awareness, see the links below: > Southlake Journal 3/6/08: " Dragon Pals Model Inclusion at Durham Elementary " > - http://pubsys.southlakejournal.com/living/story/716.html > iParenting Mom of the month - APRIL 2008, Autism Awareness > http://www.iparenting.com/mom/5787.php > Fox Morning News Show Live Appearance - Boston - April 22nd > http://www.myfoxboston.com/myfox/pages/ContentDetail? contentId=6364655 > April 2008 Ft.
