Just me & the dog till Saturday! I'm going to watch movies and eat stuff the kids don't like and DO NOTHING -- and I'm not going to work tomorrow, either.

It is so beautiful today, an I'm going to have the house to myself for a change. I don't know how to act. After months of bring within eyesight of my husband or daughters. I can fineally have time to myself. Freedom, oh sweet freedom. No but actually I'm going to mess around in the garden w/ my faithful side kick CoCo the wonder rottie. And listen to tunes on the radio an such. Hope everyone has a pleasent day also.

Here is the deal with tomorrow is that its always

tomorrow not today. So. . .why not choose today?

Lets not ask ourselves about tomorrow at all, how

about just right now? That works better for me. Btw,

good job on choosing how you really feel versus old

behaviors.

Alone was one of my triggers, too. My husband travels a lot for work,

and actually works for a company a full 3 hours from our home. We keep

an apartment in the town where his job is located, and I am often with

him only on weekends. So food became a " buddy " in the evenings when I

felt a little lonely. I'd be great during the day, but the alone set

in after 6:30 PM. The second evening trigger was tiredness. I had

taught myself a false idea that, if I ate something, I would get energy

and not feel so tired. It was a LIE, and only served to make me

fatter. I do have a few " allowed " snacks if I really really must, but

first I tell myself no for at least thirty minutes, waiting for the

urge to pass. If I do eat something, it's got to be good, and a small

portion. Just some ideas that are helping me, and I hope will help

you. Your idea to come up and write the group was/is a great one!!

Good work!

Hello !

Not that I enjoyed the fact that you were struggling (lol) but I

really appreciate that you came here and were typing as you were

waiting for the moment to pass. I felt like I was right there with

you and it was kinda cool! :)
