Guest guest
Dear friends, We would first like to express our gratitude to all those who participated in some of our recent events. Our Cocktails and Tasting at the Hempstead House as well as our Hooves for the Holidays, both held at the magnificent Sands Point Preserve, which we proudly co hosted with The Elija Foundation (elija.org) and The Nassau Suffolk Chapter of The Autism Society of America (nsasa.org). We are excited as we approach the opening of our equine- assisted riding program, Hooves for Hope, to benefit children with autism. We anticipate opening our doors (and paddocks) to the community, late Spring of 2009. This program will strive to improve the communicative, social and behavioral interactions in children with autism while utilizing equine assisted activities and trained supervised staff. We feel privileged to make this much needed equine program available to the autism community, while fostering the magical relationship that often exists between humans and horses For more information on our program, or to begin the application process , we kindly ask that you visit our website www.hoovesforhope.org Thank you again for your continued support, and we look forward to serving the autism community with an individualized, quality based equine program. Our kind regards, Sonny Garguilo & ny Ferrara and the rest of the staff at Hooves for Hope www.hoovesforhope.org info@...
