<< Quite a few months ago I mentioning buying a dress that was a *Medium* for the first time in decades. Well I tried it on today planning to wear it this weekend for the first time when we are away at a Catskills resort for the cocktail party and found it was way longer than I remembered it Longer cuz it is looser!!!Barbwho hopes I don't trip on it and break my neck, not having the time to get it shortened >>

Barb,

That's a heck of a brag !!! It does wonders when you look at changes with a larger time frame between them, I find that it is much more encouraging!!! Way to go!

Janick

who is in no hurry to "see" changes... but can't wait till she can fit into her prepregnancy jeans !

Barb,

That's great news! It shows how important it is to hang in there and don't

give up. The results will come - and sometimes happen without us even being

aware...

That is so awesome Barb! It sounds similar to what happened to me (not with a

dress, mind you LOL). I remember a couple months back that I went to the

department store to buy some new clothes, and on a lark decided to try on a

medium shirt, and was shocked to find that it actually fit!! Most of my life

all I had ever been able to wear were x-large shirts, and maybe a large if I

was lucky. So to be able to wear a medium is a big thrill. And, just like

you, I have pretty much been on a plateau for a while, too.

who knows that accomplishments like this are what encourage us to keep going

(besides just making us feel good!)

this time round it is the Raleigh

(exit 107 from Rte 17)

we never did the Villa Roma but have considered it

just chose the Raleigh cuz they mailed us a great deal

and have always liked their food

Barb

who figures if you sneak into their Saturday cocktail party to look for a

woman who keeps tripping on a leopard spotted dress LOL

Barb,

I know I'm a little late responding to this, but just wanted to say

how awesome your brag is! Just goes to show how little the scale

shows and how even though we don't notice it...our bodies are

constantly changing and re-shaping! Now, be careful this weekend and

make sure you don't trip on your dress :)
