Hi Regina, (Howdy)

A structural intervention leads to structural results, (Hello?) and

I'm in support of that, to a point, to the point of the structural

parameters/objective/s?.. . Guys like me (Analyst? Individuals,

[NGO] thereof.;) have been known to make everything seem redundant,

thereof? " Definitive, " thereof.. .;=)*

Please don't get me wrong, thereof? .. . (Certainly not of Context?!.)

(Never? ) Everything is " relative " to the goals you/we strive to

achieve, where not of and for Understanding More? .. . (The main

program? to me, as an Individual, first, of what defines

Objectivity?!. as much as " everything " else.. .)+ To be " extremely "

precise about things? .. . " Yes, " I Feel I am, about, that, in

knowing what I'm doing and talking about, thereof

I like " you, " or I wouldn't be communicating with you, Regina (;) and

All, in case you were wondering about that, Especially? .. .

Best wishes, thereof,

Mike,

I ABA

ABA for Understanding More

missionary of " Justice, " among other things, when for Understanding

More? ))*Oh yeah*(( Thereof. ))

I'll try to post this to the discussion board, too, thereof, in

making for the simpler (to understand) world, for Understanding More,

thereof (As much as there " is, " to understand, thereof.;)

There's " Justice " in that " I " Feel as understand .

Don't think I don't like (or do) " ABA? " I love it more than you can,

imagine, thereof, of Communication? .. . That's giving " us " more

than the benefit of the doubt, thereof (.) Do ABA. I implore you,

thereof.. .

Of Communication. Bingo to sum.

directly addresses the often-heard critique that behavior analytic

interventions do not affect the core deficits as measured by the

ADOS. This measure was used and the post-intervention outcomes after

1 year are rather interesting (see abstract and full article).

> It is still debated what is the best early intervention approach

for autism. This study compared two intervention approaches, Eclectic-

Developmental (ED) and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) in very

young children with autism/autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Nineteen

children received ED intervention, using combination of methods.

Twenty children received Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA)

intervention which used behavioral principles. Children in both

groups were not significantly different in their autism severity,

cognitive abilities and in socio-economic background at pre-

intervention time. Change in the severity of autism symptoms was

assessed by the Autism Diagnosis Observation Schedule (ADOS).

> The ABA group showed significantly greater improvements than the ED

group at post-intervention time. Pre–post intervention differences in

language and communication domain were significant only for the ABA

group. Both groups showed significant improvement in reciprocal

social interaction domain. However, the effect size was greater for

the ABA group. Changes in diagnostic classification were noted in

both groups but were more pronounced for the ABA group. Pre-treatment

IQ scores were positively related to ADOS scores at pre- and post-

intervention times, but not to progress over time.
