Guest guest
Mel don't stress about putting fill off for a couple of days. I did the same thing, waiting till next Wed as I don't want to spoil my weekend socialising - plenty enough time for that later.... Guest guest
Yiks that sounds abit scary doesn't it. I just remembered the other thing I was going to say this morning about blockages. When I was away and being oh so careful about not having any troublesome foods, someone offered me gum. Have not had this since before banding and thought OK but I must remember to spit the damn stuff out, because ever since I was a kid, I swallow it. Well I did the bandit thingy and chewed away merrily, promptly forgot about it and swallowed. I was terrified it was just going to block off and glue up my stoma? and that would be the end of my eating until I got back to Australia - the visions I had .... Anyway it obviously wasn't a problem and when I was offered gum a second time in my last weekend away, I remembered to dispose of it properly. Now that was a boring little story wasn't it. Just back in from - will tell all shortly. Cherie > > Okay I have found out what happens if a whole olive is swallowed and you are not able to get it through and it doesn't come up. All the fill is removed and it is hoped that the pip will go through, that is the first option that a band surgeon will do. > > Hugs, > Ghyll > > __,_._,__ >
