Guest guest
What did you do? Use another syringe or just find a new injection site? Are you injecting in your tummy? My APRN instructor says I do not have to pull back the needle to check for blood as long as I am using my stomach. She says its impossible to hit a vein in your stomach. Whatcha think guys...true or false > > Hello everyone, > > I just did shot number 11 and there was blood in the needle. GRRR I am > mad because I wish shot time was easier for me. Guest guest
I agree with you, . I almost always did it in the stomach and never checked for blood. Those needles are so tiny and short that it would be difficult to inject blood of any quantity. I did sometimes use my inner thighs to give the belly a break, and that was fine, too. As long as you stay in the fattiest parts of your stomach and thighs, you shouldn't have a problem. IMHO. > > > > Hello everyone, > > > > I just did shot number 11 and there was blood in the needle. Guest guest
Hello everyone, I just injected because I did not see the blood in the syringe until after I took it out. I do pull back a bit each time to check for blood but it is hard for me to tell sometimes. This was the second time that I had injected with blood in the needle. I inject on my outer thighs. I am still alive so what doesn't kill me can only make me stronger. Happy weekend everyone. > > Hello everyone, > > I just did shot number 11 and there was blood in the needle. Guest guest
I just want to say that a little blood coming out is no big deals long as you get the med in. And especially for men, Do not try your thigh unless you have a fat pad to do it in. Lee I know from experience.
