please help with a student

Hi~

I am sorry for the cross posts but I am looking for some quick information. I

teach a boy who is 8 years old, technically in 2nd grade and functioning at

about pre-k-k level. I have been trying to teach my student yes/no response to

questions and am having no luck. I am looking for suggestions, whether it be

through discrete trials or whatever. This same student will not wait in a line

either. He needs to wait when lining up from recess, going out to recess or

just waiting while I speak with a therapist and it just ends up in a tantrum.

Any suggestions or creative ideas?

One last request - I am looking for websites that I can access through a school

computer for this same child. He loves Starfall and PBS kids between the lions.

Any other websites for that developmental level? I am so tired of starfall.
