My husband is 28 weeks into treatment Pegasys and Riba along with Procrit, and Prozac. I called his Pegasys and Riba into the pharmacy on Monday (hubby needed his shot last night) Well the pharmacy never ordered his Pegasys. They said they faxed the paperwork to the dr monday afternoon and haven't heard back from the dr. I called the dr office and they told me it was faxed back on Tuesday the pharmacy says they never received it. Regardless someone really screwed up. Now it is straighted out now but the Pegasys has to be ordered and the pharmacy will not have it until Monday. Has anyone had this happen to them? Does it mess up all of the weeks he has done? Will he have bad side effects from getting the shot so late? What can we expect to happen?Believe me I tried every pharmacy in town and no one keeps this stuff on

hand they all said they would have to order it. I could not even get it through our hospital. I am going to have to find another pharmacy because I through such a fit in there yesterday they asked me to leave. The manager called me later and explained to me it wasn't their fault and that I treated their people with disrespect and that my husband could pick up his meds on Monday. So I guess they don't want me in there store anymore.

I will tell you this you find out who your real friends are when you do treatment. People I knew for 20 to 30 years made themselves

invisivable when I started treatment. When I did the second round of treatment, we met a couple of wonderful young ladies. They immediately became a great part in my treatment plan. They worked during the week but had every weekend off. Oh the weekends we never had to cook a meal. They took the strain off of

my husband and had us over on the weekends to eat. They took me to the doctor when I needed to go. They took care of my daughter she was 10 at the time when I just couldn't do the things

I needed for her. And they ran to the store if I needed ginger ale.

I lived on ginger ale right after shot night.

The thing about it is Don, you are not sick every day. You have your good days and your bad days. I usually got to feeling better a

couple of days before shot day. I would go to the store and do my grocery shopping then. I even traveled while on treatment, and even when to Sea World. I did use a motorized cart while there. Because of all the walking. But Treatment is doable. And Don with your attitude hon, I know that you can do it.
