Guest guest
I have a question for the group. How do you tap in to you away from or towards motivations? I lost almost 75 pounds through rigorous diet and exercise. I didn¹t lose anything radically fast, it was sensible and I got into great shape doing it. I¹m quite proud of that time in my life but I¹m struggling with finding that motivation again. Since I¹m somewhat anonymous here I¹ll go ahead and share something personal I had a stroke a few years ago at age 27. So, at the time, my motivation was pretty darn clear. That scared me more than anything else has ever scared me. I wanted to get as far away from that possibly as I possibly could. But, when I got down to 75 pounds lighter, something happened and I can¹t tap into that motivation anymore. I can¹t figure out why. Maybe it was grad school. Maybe it was a major geographical move. I don¹t know. I have the world¹s most incredible, fantastic, wonderful, supportive, understanding (did I say great?) boyfriend and he tries to motivate me but nothing seems to do the trick. So, I¹m reaching out to anyone in the group. How do you find your true motivation? The one that kicks you in the backside when you need it most? Looking forward to everyone¹s thoughts.
