Guest guest
from Dale, Mom to Katy, age 16, CVID Dear Maurita, May the God of all comfort put His strong arms around you at this time of grief. Your grief will be compounded by well-wishers who tell you that this was best. But you and I know that that just makes the pain worse. I don't understand God's ways. But I know this: God is good and He has a plan for you and for your little one. Your little one will be waiting for you in Heaven and will be a part of your life for all eternity. Accepting God's decision in not letting you nurture this little one is hard, but vitally important in your healing. May I direct your attention to Psalm 145: verses 14 - 19. The Lord sustains all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to Thee, and Thou dost give them their food in due time. Thou dost open Thy hand, and dost satisfy the desire of every living thing. The Lord is righteous in all His ways, and kind in all His deeds. The Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry, and will save them. My arms are not long enough to give you a hug, but God's are. I'm praying that he will send close friends who will help you carry your grief. My prayers will be with you and your husband and for your boys that they too may come through this time with understanding of our Great God. Teaching Wesley that God has plans for each one of us that we don't always understand, but that we humbly accept will be quite a challenge. May God bless you and provide you comfort as only He can, dale
