I reattached it and gave myself the shot. Was this a smart idea???? I am calling a pegasys nurse right now for help. i am so afraid of injecting in my blood vessel. i pull the plunger back. but i am so nevrous about how much to pull back when i do this. stressed. woe is me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest guest Posted July 11, 2008 Report Share Posted July 11, 2008 honey, dont stress it, its ok, you did the right thing,, otherwise you would have needed to just put a new needle on it,, was the needle capped? its ok,, you just pull the plunger back slightly because if you were in a blood vessel, you would have seen bloody fluid down near where the needle attaches to the syringe.. you only pull it back a tiny amount,, you did just fine!!!!JackieSubject: i just screwed up my shotTo: Hepatitis_C_Central Date: Friday, July 11, 2008, 7:34 PM i was trying to take the top off of my shot and the needle part that attaches to the plunger part came off. (with pictures) I had to use that for a long time, but if in doubt, I am sure one of the nurses could walk you through it if need be next time, yikes, try to relax, it will be okay.. This was my 3rd shot. I just got really shaky and stressed but I'm ok now and am going kyacking tomorrow.
