Guest guest
Hummmm...lets see, I only had a lift. Implants are a bit more painful but nothing horrible as I understand it. My suggestion is: Don't bring anything to wear home from the hospital that requires you to lift your arms above your head. The incisions will prevent you from doing that...plus you want a hairline scar and you don't want to Pull/stress that area. So plan on not lifting your arms above your head for several days at least, your body will be your guide. Hugs Jo

Guest guest
Kristy, I did the arms and boobs at the same time. For me, I slept on my back with two pillows behind my head and then one under each arm. I took the pain pills every 4 hours, on the dot (set the alarm clock for the middle of the night). I did this for the first 5-7 days. The one night that I accidentally put my arm up over my head while asleep ( I do that sometimes) caused me to wake up in severe pain and crying. I had to have help wiping my butt for the first 2 days because my arms were swelled up in Popeye fashion and there was no way that they were bending around, even with a stick to do anything useful. I don't recall how long it took for the wounds to fully close. Sorry, there. You will do great. After the first week or two of pain and discomfort it will all be better. A month or two out and it will seem like forever since you had tube sock boobies and saggy baggy arms. Goodluck! in WA
