Guest guest
Hi Libby, Just back from shopping. Had to buy some fingerless gloves- it's freezing here, and I'm not patient or clever enough to knit a pair before next winter. I've just finished a beautiful scarf for me in mega-expensive yarn, and have promised Rosie another pair of socks (woollen hand-knitted socks are simply superb). There was nothing suitable for me in the food court at Roselands (yes, back there again), so I had to have mashed potato and gravy, and then handed the rest over to Jon. Boring!!!!! At least I was fit and healthy this time, didn't nearly flake in Best & Less like last time. I have Rosie at home with me, another head-cold, and we've had a great time together. It's amazing what a girly day together can do for bonding. We're definitely on a different page than just before my band. I've been told I expect too much from her, she's only 10, and maybe they're right. But we're mates again, and that's the main thing. She'll always be my beautiful girl, even when we scrap like a pair of alley cats, which we probably always will, at times. My job interview went well, this is the one I really want, and I actually was a bit pleading for it . Maybe that's a good thing, maybe not, but I was very confident anyway. I'm working tomorrow in my support-worker job, taking a couple of bus loads to Kurnell for horse-riding. I hope the weather holds out for us- it should be fun. Ronnii sends her love, she's just a bit hesitant to pour her guts out online, but she was happy, bright-eyed and full of beans last night. She's such a babe, I feel so frumpy and dull in comparison, but at least I'm slowly losing now. Gotta go, kettle's boiling (ah, domesticity!!!) See ya, (A)
