Guest guest
I am an ABA/VB therapist working for `Consultants for Children Inc.' I have 6 years experience doing ABA/VB therapy. I have my undergraduate and Masters degrees in Psychology. I am currently studying and being supervised for my BCBA certification and will sit my BCBA exam next year. I have trained with the `Growing Minds Institute' in Florida, the Vince Carbone (BCBA) Clinic in New York and have had extensive training from Duncan Fennemore (BCABA, Consultant and Company Director for CEIEC in the UK), Tony Louw and Dalton (Supervisors for CEIEC in the UK). I have two years experience being an ABA/VB Program Supervisor where I designed and implemented home programs, managed data, carried out ABLLS and VB-MAPP assessments, trained therapists, chaired team meetings and managed parental expectations. I have worked with children across the Autism Spectrum between the ages of 2 and 14 years old. Verbal Behavior is my primary focus and my specialization is in early learners such as those recently diagnosed and/or with little or no functional communication and skills. I have experience working on home programs as well as shadowing in schools. Consultants for Children are approved on the CES and CWA (Childrens Extensive Support and Children With Autism) waivers and we also accept private pay clients. My availability includes mornings and afternoons and some evenings.
