Guest guest
Hello again friends. At my last gastro appt. my doc asked me if I'd be willing to be part of a hepc support group she is putting together in my area (State College, PA) and I gladly said absolutely yes. Me and many others are so blessed to have this group and I feel great to be able to give back to others in the way of info and comfort. When I attend these meetings I will of course give them this website as a source of additional info and support. As a side note, last Wednesday I had my biopsy and will get the results when I go back to see my doc on the 17th. Either way I'm going to tx but it'll be nice to know the condition of my liver anyway. I watched 3 different videos on the net of biopsies so I knew what to expect. While it is some intense pain, it only lasts for a minute or so and it had to be done and they gave me a shot of demerol afterwards to help with the pain and help me sleep for a couple hours before I went home. One question I do have for you guys is if I have been feeling depressed for a while now about my hip operation which I may have to have redone, our bills since I haven't been working for 3 months, this treatment coming up, shoulder and knee surgery I may have to have done and a hernia repair that's coming back open, will me telling my gastro doc about it cause her to not let me treat or do you think she will just put me on some meds for it? I just don't like admitting that I'm depressed to anyone little on a doctor. Once again thank you guys for being here, it helps alot.
