Guest guest
... Be careful with those pesky little nuts. I cannot have them at all, or peanut butter or nutella. The spreads will not go down, and will not come up either... they just sit there blocking things up for hours in my throat. And nuts don't like my band, or should that be my lovely does not like nuts! Whatever, I have learnt that one the hard way as well. I gave almonds a go several times in the hope of them working because they are meant to be so damned good for us, to no avail, I have given them up. Maybe marzipan ~ would that be the same as eating almonds ???? Mel >> Mel,> > Now sucking prawn heads is truly gross. I thought that was called burley!> > Gotta go, sliming badly on almonds. Will I ever learn?> > (A)>
Guest guest
HI Mel, Yup, they are sitting there on me too, altho' peanut butter was OK on some toast yesterday, and anything choc with nuts is ok. I was trying to be all healthy 'tho, and they have had to go into the bin. Don't you hate that? M(A)
Guest guest
... I think my problem was the amount of peanut butter and nutella spreads that I put on a cruskit. The cruskit sort of melted away in my mouth, leaving behind the large amount of spread that went down only so far. We continue to learn the hard way. Roast lamb tonight, so we will just have to see how that goes. Lots of gravy to hopefully do the trick. It will be the first meat I have tried other than mince in lasanga since last Friday nights pork. I did have that chicken on Saturday, but none of it went down. By the way... where was it that you knew Craig from... Was it 9... if so, did you know Morelli? Mel
Guest guest
Hi Mel, Yep, it was at Nine (early 90s) , and perhaps at Foxsports, around '94-'96, when pay was launched, I was with Galaxy, but we also did pres. for the sportos, as well as TV1, etc..... Morelli does ring a faint bell. Why? M(A)
Guest guest
Oh just sad news that his son died last week. He has been at Fox for a while but recently retired... and was at Knox snr school when Paddy was in Prep... so we saw a fair bit of them. Very sad and very worrying as he is about the 4th Knox boy between 20-25 that has committed suicide in the last 18 months... makes you wonder. B.C. was an OB director so in pres you probably didn't see a lot of him.
