Guest guest
Recently I have stopped counting calories and weighing myself. Initially this was because we were on holiday, but then it continued when we were back at home. Then I was thinking that I would have gained a lot of weight, so I didn't dare get on the scale. But this morning I braved the scale, and found that I have stayed the same. Of course the downside is that this was time when I could have been losing weight, and so I have delayed my ultimate success, but if I put a positive spin on it, it means I have learned how to maintain my weight even when I am not paying attention to it. I'm disappointed about the confidence issue though, I have spent several weeks thinking I was doing so badly, and I was getting disconnected from my body, and buying chocolate, and not looking in the mirror - all my old habits and ways of thinking were slowly starting to creep back. But I feel like I am back on track now. Wish me luck with staying focused!
