Guest guest
HI Everyone, Okay this is gonna be a long post, but you all told me to bring on my questions - so here we go. I found out Aug 06 that I have HEP C. As everyone, first question is HOW. Well, after many questions from my doctor,he says I got in 1957 through a blood transfustion. 48 yrs before I notice???? Prior to getting tested, I had been having problems for a good year. Headaches, terrible fatigue, memory loss, bad vision, panic attack. Doctor tested me said I was postive and that's why I was having those problems. Moving up to now Jan 08 - have not started treatement - liver CT is clean - liver blood work has been normal. I have had to stop working as I can longer concentrete for any period of time. I get terribly tired in the afternoons. Vision getting worse. Absolutely cannot drive at night because of vision and tendency to have panic attacks. Okay, so my doctor recently retired and had to get a new doctor. Went to see him last week - he tells me that my fatigue, vision problems, etc ARE NOT because of the HEP C that there is something else wrong. Yet, all the doctors (3) that I had seen since Aug 06 say these are all side effects of HEP C. So my questions are is anyone else on the board experiencing what I am? I don't know what to think anymore. Have you found you cannot work Have you found that has affected your teeth Have you found you have loss interest in things you used to enjoy Have you found that you maybe depressed or personality has changed Has your vision changed Do you ever feel disoriented or displaced (if you will) Do you feel like you could sleep, sleep sleep Do you have any problems with your legs? Well, I think that's enough for now. I am sure I will remember more that I have to ask- but right now that's all I can think of. Thank you so much for letting me post a STORY and thanks to all for listening. Sherry
