Seasons/ Composition Programs- Are these reqd?

Hi Group

We have worked on Seasons since a while and the SD has just been to sort pics to

the season that they belong to which was the only SD in the program she decided

that is relevant at this time

The kid is 6. He can do it, but scores still not consistently great on the

program. The senior says its up to me to keep the program / not now since its

been months. She thinks it ok to stop it

 

I am not sure what to do. He is good at sorting categories otherwise, labelling

them, naming items out of the category etc. but this thing is just not moving

I think that he does not relate to the concept as such at this age so may be she

is right

Did your kids do anything different in the program for seasons or anything we

can do better because school does touch on these kind of thing

 

One of the replacement program she was mentioned was composition- which I think

is again on the same lines, may be not so imp. to him at this age .

 

So, should be picking things like this or not? Pls suggest what can I do ....
